Directions for Requests

I only record in NTSC VHS in SP speed and requests are limited to 2 tapes. You send me the tapes, a brand new (meaning *unopened*) tape meant for *Hi-Fi* recording (current accepted tapes include Maxell Hi-Fi, TDK Hi-Fi or DSP, and Fuji Super HG) as well as: 1) an 8 1/2 inch by 11 1/2 inch piece of paper with what you want, your name and your address (physical address and e-mail address) and words of wisdom (^_^) written on it, 2) a self-addressed, self-sealing bubble mailer with the sealing strip still intact, (tapes enclosed in a felt mailer will not go in my VCRs) and 3) $3.95 in postage stamps (not money, not a postage sticker or postage strip) back to you, if you live in the U.S. If you live outside of the U.S., money is accepted for the return trip. Funds must be in U.S. currency, and the amount must be sufficient to get the tapes back to you. I don't know how much postage will cost, that's your job! ^_^ If you're still interested, e-mail me with your choices and if I have time I'll send you my address. E-mail me when you send me the tapes. But before you do send the tapes to me, *BE SURE YOU'VE FOLLOWED ALL THE DIRECTIONS!!!* And if you're unclear about something by all means ask me! Also--anime related (or cash--I can use that too ^_^) donations, although not required and definitely not actively sought after are always welcome and very much appreciated.

This is your last warning concerning requests--follow all directions explicitly. Any variation in my directions will result in the return of your uncopied tapes, if the postage included will cover it. It may sound extremely rigid and strict, but believe it or not there are reasons for my directions. Any money or donations sent in will not be returned, and will be counted as donations. Thanks in advance!

Qualifying Anime Clubs

Because I feel that the fastest way to spread anime among the masses is through anime clubs, I am willing to lift my two tape limit on requests to 3 tapes and one can pick from the full fansub list provided that my (what I think, anyway) simple requests are followed. First, the directions above still apply. Second, to prove to me that one actually does represent an anime club, one will have to include anything that has to do with your club, be it a recent flyer with showing dates, a sample membership card, or even a newspaper or magazine article that has to do with your club. This will have to be done each and every time one requests something not on the distribution list. Please
let me know if you are interested.

Directions for Trades

I record in SP using Maxell XL-HiFi (the one with a black jacket with orange lettering or in all tints of purple) or TDK Hi-Fi (the one in a blue and grey jacket) brand videotapes to record your stuff on. These tapes will be recorded using two Hi-Fi VHS decks (or a Hi-Fi deck and an SVHS deck). When I'm done recording your copies I label them by writing the name of the title on the shrinkwrap covering the tape jacket (I usually open the shrinkwrapped tape just enough to get the tape out, keeping the shrinkwrap intact). When I send your tapes, I use bubble mailers to enclose the tapes and send them via USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail if it's less than 3 tapes. All I ask is that you follow the same procedures when copying stuff for me (*especially the videotape and the equipment used*). Also, please let me know if my copy will be in stereo or not. Thank you!
